This master鈥檚 aims to provide basic training and current knowledge of the molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis and physiopathology of human diseases. Students will obtain a solid foundation to start doctoral programs in biomedical research, acquiring basic skills in experimental laboratory work as well as the ability to develop professional tasks in the field of biomedical research.

The master鈥檚 has a research orientation, meaning it is aimed at students who wish to continue their education by developing a doctoral thesis in the field of Biomedicine. Most of the students who pass this course are likely to continue their education with a doctoral thesis, either in the programmes in which this master is integrated, or in other programs at other universities in the field of Biomedicine.

A lo largo de cada curso acad茅mico se llevar谩 a cabo una tutorizaci贸n individualizada de los alumnos a cargo de miembros del equipo docente del m谩ster y el doctorado. Esto conllevar谩 reuniones peri贸dicas entre el alumno y su tutor al menos una vez cada dos meses, donde se discutir谩 el itinerario acad茅mico a seguir por el alumno, la elecci贸n de un director para el trabajo de fin de m谩ster, y todas los dem谩s temas e incidencias que pudieran surgir en el transcurso de los estudios.

Para acceder aos ensinos oficiais de M谩ster ser谩 necesario estar en posesi贸n de:
A.1. Un t铆tulo universitario oficial espa帽ol.
A.2. Un t铆tulo expedido por unha instituci贸n de educaci贸n superior pertencente a outro Estado integrante do Espazo Europeo de Educaci贸n Superior que faculte no mesmo para o acceso a ensinos de M谩ster.
A.3. Un t铆tulo pertencente a un sistema educativo alleo ao Espazo Europeo de Educaci贸n, previa comprobaci贸n pola Universidade de que o citado t铆tulo acredita un nivel de formaci贸n equivalente aos correspondentes t铆tulos universitarios oficiais espa帽ois e faculta no pa铆s expedidor do t铆tulo para o acceso a ensinos de posgrao.

Grados en Biolog铆a, Farmacia, Medicina, Veterinaria, Qu铆mica, Bioqu铆mica, Biotecnolog铆a, Ingenier铆a Biom茅dica, Ingenier铆a Inform谩tica, Ingenier铆a de la Salud, F铆sica, Matem谩ticas, Odontolog铆a, Enfermer铆a, Psicolog铆a, Ciencias del Mar o cualquier otra titulaci贸n de grado que incluya estudios de biolog铆a fundamental o medicina.

Otras titulaciones admitidas por la Comisi贸n Acad茅mica de acuerdo con el car谩cter transversal del t铆tulo.

Los alumnos procedentes de pa铆ses de lengua diferente al gallego, portugu茅s ou espa帽ol deber谩n acreditar el nivel de lengua gallega: Celga II, o espa帽ola: B2, seg煤n el Acuerdo del Consejo de Gobierno de la 奇趣腾讯分分彩 de 30 de julio de 2018.
De non poseer alguno de los t铆tulos, la 奇趣腾讯分分彩 les realizar谩 una prueba de nivel y, de no superarla, deber谩n asistir a un curso intensivo de gallego o espa帽ol en el primer semestre hasta alcanzar el nivel requerido

This master鈥檚 aims to provide basic training and current knowledge of the molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis and physiopathology of human diseases.

1. Know how to apply the appropriate techniques for the resolution of a specific problem of Biomedicine, and to be able to carry out a research project under supervision.
2. Be able to make judgments in the field of Biomedicine, both on scientific validity and on ethical and social aspects.
3. Be able to work as a team in a multidisciplinary environment in order to achieve common objectives from different perspectives.
4. Be able to communicate their proposals, experiments, results, conclusions and criticisms to both specialised and non-specialised audiences.
5. Possess the necessary learning skills to keep up to date in the field of Biomedicine and its techniques autonomously.

1. Entender c贸mo las alteraciones de los procesos biol贸gicos que mantienen el equilibrio en la c茅lula y en los tejidos del organismo pueden provocar la patolog铆a humana.
2. Conocer la anatom铆a del genoma, la informaci贸n obtenida por el proyecto genoma humano, la distribuci贸n de alelos en las poblaciones humanas y las t茅cnicas usadas para estudiar el genoma.
3. Desarrollar la habilidad de entender las alteraciones e identificar posibles puntos de intervenci贸n terap茅utica de cualquier enfermedad que se pueda encontrar como objeto de estudio en su carrera profesional.
4. Conocer el marco legal en el que se desarrolla la investigaci贸n biom茅dica y ser capaz de emitir juicios aut贸nomos sobre las implicaciones 茅ticas de esta investigaci贸n.
5. Ser capaz de dise帽ar experimentos en el campo de la Biomedicina, aplicando las t茅cnicas adecuadas para responder a la pregunta pertinente.
6. Desarrollar habilidad pr谩ctica en el laboratorio de Biomedicina. Ser capaz de seguir un protocolo experimental de forma aut贸noma.

La movilidad de los/as estudiantes est谩 regulada a trav茅s del 鈥淩eglamento de intercambios interuniversitarios鈥�. A trav茅s de la Oficina de Relaciones Exteriores se gestionan programas de intercambio tanto nacionales (SICUE), como europeos (ERASMUS) y extracomunitarios (intercambios con pa铆ses de Am茅rica Latina o pa铆ses de habla inglesa):

El Trabajo de Fin de M谩ster supone la realizaci贸n por parte del estudiante de un proyecto, memoria o estudio, en el que aplique y desarrolle los conocimientos adquiridos en el seno del M谩ster en Investigaci贸n Biom茅dica. El Trabajo deber谩 estar orientado a la aplicaci贸n de las competencias generales asociadas a la titulaci贸n y ser谩 realizado bajo la supervisi贸n del tutor/a asignado.
El Trabajo de Fin de M谩ster consistir谩 en la elaboraci贸n de un documento donde se describan las actividades realizadas en el laboratorio en el caso de trabajos experimentales, o que cumpla los objetivos marcados en la propuesta de trabajo en el caso de trabajos te贸ricos. Adem谩s de presentar este documento, el alumno lo defender谩 ante un tribunal.
En 茅l el alumno aplicar谩 de forma m谩s pr谩ctica los conocimientos, habilidades y actitudes adquiridos en el resto del m谩ster. En una mayor铆a de casos esta aplicaci贸n ser谩 en uno de los laboratorios de investigaci贸n que podr谩n ofertar plazas. Sin embargo, existe tambi茅n la posibilidad de realizar el trabajo como un proyecto m谩s te贸rico donde tambi茅n se aplicar谩n los conocimientos previos para casos que as铆 lo aconseje la situaci贸n y expectativas del alumno. Esta ser谩 una opci贸n minoritaria, pero posible teniendo en cuenta que algunos alumnos podr谩n cursar el m谩ster sin la intenci贸n de trabajar f铆sicamente en un laboratorio, y sobre todo que muchos alumnos entrar谩n en un programa de doctorado al acabar el m谩ster, y ah铆 su tarea principal ser谩 precisamente trabajar en un laboratorio resolviendo problemas reales de investigaci贸n biom茅dica desde un punto de vista experimental.
La Comisi贸n del M谩ster coordinar谩 y supervisar谩 el proceso de realizaci贸n de los Trabajos de Fin de M谩ster, velando por la calidad, la adecuaci贸n a los cr茅ditos ECTS establecidos para esta materia en el Plan de Estudios y la homogeneidad en el nivel de exigencia aplicado en la evaluaci贸n de los estudiantes. La Comisi贸n del M谩ster establecer谩 las directrices para la asignaci贸n a los estudiantes del tutor/a y del tema del Trabajo de Fin de M谩ster, y garantizar谩 la asignaci贸n individual a cada estudiante del tutor/a y del tema. La asignaci贸n del tutor/a y del tema deber谩 producirse al menos cuatro meses antes de la finalizaci贸n del plazo de presentaci贸n de los Trabajos de Fin de M谩ster, y en todo caso,antes del 1 de Febrero del a帽o acad茅mico en el que se ha producido la matr铆cula.
